L'Oratoire Saint Jean d'Aureilhan is located in Liausson, on a slope overlooking Lac du Salagou, and cultivates 6 ha of organic vines.
Created in 2021 by Franck Soulayrol, son of a winemaker and nephew of the Vaillé family (La Grange des Pères).
The estate's red wine is a blend of Mourvèdre (50%), Syrah (40%) and Sangiovese (10%), which seduces with its power, elegance and a fresh, acidic finish typical of Italian wines.
Hand-harvested and destemmed, the wine is aged for 24 months in barrels.
A very promising first vintage for 2021.
