Chateau de Nalys Chateauneuf-du-Pape Grand Vin white 2022

Made from 40% each of Grenache Blanc and Roussanne, and the rest of Clairette, aged entirely in wood (2/3 in demi-muids and 1/3 in barrels, 5% of which are new), Châteauneuf Du Pape Grand Vin Blanc 2022 is one of the - if not the - white wines of the vintage. White peach, citrus oil, green almonds, brioche and toasted notes define the aromas, and the wine is full-bodied, with a layered but concentrated palate, good acidity (pH 3.4) and a fine finish. It's a stunning southern white wine that I'd like all readers to be able to taste. It will evolve for 15 years or more.
