Also composed entirely of Grenache aged in demi-muids, Gigondas Le Lieu-Dit 2020 is in the same qualitative register, but presents a very different style. From a cooler, sandier terroir close to the estate, it's all finesse and elegance and is full-bodied, with lots of ripe strawberry and cherry fruit, notes of dried flowers, spices and clay soil, ultra-fine tannins, no hard edges and an excellent finish.
