The 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Croix de Bois, which as always, is a 100% Grenache that comes from a parcel on the eastern side of the appellation, near the village of Bédarrides. Completely de-stemmed and aged 16 months in concrete, it offers the advanced, fruity style expected of the cuvée as well as classic notes of Bing cherries, blackberries, spring flowers and touches of leather.
