The red is a 100% Grenache (101-year-old vines) harvested on November 1, 2019 and aged 48 months in old barrels.
It's just a Grenache elixir that I've rarely tasted in Châteauneuf-du-Pape...

The wine presents aromas of sweet medicinal herbs, fresh earth, cherry and dried flowers. Fresh on the palate, with aromas of black cherry, tea leaf, orange peel and stony, mineral-rich earth. The structure is well integrated, with crispness, fresh acidity and endless length on the palate. This wine is everything I love, with its classic structure, great complexity and nuanced, balanced style. Drink between 2025 and 2042.
