Domaine de Cristia Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee Renaissance 2020

The Châteauneuf Du Pape Renaissance 2020 is composed of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre from the southern parts of the place called Cristia and the place called Font du Loup, both located on sandy soils. It has a slightly modern look due to the use of new oak, but it has classic Provençal notes of game meat, ground pepper, garrigue and wood smoke. Pure, full-bodied and homogeneous on the palate, it will offer pleasure in its youth but deserves to age in the bottle for 2 to 4 years. It will last for two decades. Jeb Dunnuck
