The Gigondas Réserve 2020 is a little gem of a wine, with a ripe, sexy, opulent style that remains beautifully balanced and elegant. Black raspberries, peppery garrigue, spices and floral notes define the bouquet, and the palate is full-bodied and wonderfully textured. It is perfect for drinking over the next 10 to 12 years. The blend is made up of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre and the rest Cinsault, 70% of which has been destemmed and matured in several vats. This is an excellent basic cuvée from this estate..
