Vincent has produced a magnificent Châteauneuf Du Pape 2021 that readers will love to have in their cellars. All finesse and elegance, it reveals a classic Clos des Papes nose, with red and black fruits as well as tons of floral, peppery and spicy notes. The palate is supple and silky, with ripe tannins and a superb finish. It's not far removed from the style of the 2020, and while it lacks the density of a great vintage, it's nonetheless balanced, complex and elegant. Jeb Dunnuck
