With more finesse and elegance than the Chateauneuf du Pape, but still plenty of density and concentration, the 2020 Lirac is a sensational wine from this estate, displaying a kaleidoscopic array of raspberries, darker cherries, dried flowers, garrigue and spices. Opening up beautifully with time in the glass, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, layered, multidimensional texture, silky tannins and a great finish.
