Warm cherries, Provençal garrigue, licorice, scorched earth and spices merge in a full-bodied, beautifully textured and expansive Gigondas, endowed with impressive tannins and perfect balance. This powerful, concentrated, magical Gigondas can be enjoyed at any time over the next 15 to 20 years. As always, this cuvée is made entirely of Grenache from limestone soils at an altitude of 350 meters. It was 70% de-stemmed and vinified in concrete vats. Malolactic fermentation took place in barrels and the wine was aged in demi-muids for 2 to 4 years... Jeb Dunnuck
