The Châteauneuf Du Pape La Cuvée Du Papet 2020 is made in a more structured style and is better suited to ageing. It is 90% Grenache and 5% Syrah and Mourvèdre. Its slightly darker ruby colour is followed by a magnificent fragrance of savoury red and black fruits, ground pepper, garrigue and chalky minerality. All these elements are reflected on the palate, where the wine is full-bodied, with a dense, powerful mid-palate, plenty of ripe tannins and a very fine finish... Jeb Dunnuck
