The 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Guigasse is my favorite of the trio, at least at this early stage. Full-bodied aromas and flavors of black fruits, violets, peppery herbs and chocolate emerge from this beauty, which is perfectly balanced and has an excellent mid-palate, silky tannins and an excellent finish. This is a 100% Grenache wine that has not been destemmed and has been aged in older demi-muids. .Jeb Dunnuck
